Workshop for Financial Freedom
What Will I Learn?
You will learn what the Bible teaches about finances and how to combat cultural myths such as, "Debt is expected and unavoidable," "Things bring happiness," and "A little more money will solve all your problems." During the course, you will develop a Spending Plan for the coming year. You will learn about and choose between three different record-keeping systems to help you stick to your plan. Most importantly, you will discover how being financially faithful can help you to become financially free!
Pre-work materials need to be completed prior to attending the course and will be given to you when you register. Spending an hour or two completing the pre-work will ensure you get the most benefit from the course. These materials are confidential and you will not be asked to share them with others.
You will leave the course with a Spending Plan in your hand, the knowledge in your head to implement it, and the motivation in your heart to follow through with it!

Cost
The workshop is free but you need to purchase the book for $15. If you are attending the two-day class, then your total cost is $15 (for couples also because you can share a book). If you are attending the one-day class, we provide lunch at an additional $7 per person or you can bring your own (check registration page for lunch choices). We collect these costs BEFORE the class and will have your book on the day of the class for you. So make sure you turn your fees into the church no later than one week before class. If you are attending the one-day class please note that it is important to stay on site for lunch to save time and to allow for interaction during the lunch time. Thanks for understanding! NOTE: If the fees are not paid by the due date (Sunday one week before the class), the book fee will be $20 and we will not order your lunch so you'll need to bring one!
Payment Instructions: To make your payment, please write a check payable to "Grace Church - Saint Louis" and write "Workshop for Financial Freedom" in the memo field. You may turn this into the church any time in the offering, at an information table, to the church office, or even by mail. Alternatively, you can pay online at www.gracestl.org/give but please indicate you intend to pay online below so we can make sure it is applied appropriately. If you choose to pay the day of class, make sure you have a check or exact cash.
Preparation
Please note that pre-work materials need to be completed prior to attending the course. You will receive your pre-work when you register (if you register online, make sure you complete all 3 steps). NOTE: It may take some time to fill this out, so don't wait until the last minute! Be sure to bring pencils and a calculator with you to the class. Download the Pre-Work here anytime. Registration
You must submit a registration form online and turn in your payment to the church before the day of the class. NOTE: Online registration closes one week prior to the class! If you have any difficulties with the online registration, contact us!
